Application Requirements/Description:
The 2005 Majors Explored Scholarship is open to all senior high school students who would like to submit an application. Please be a graduating high school senior entering college in the year a scholarship is awarded. Scholarships are awarded only to those who graduate from high school in the calendar year in which scholarships are awarded.
The Majors Explored Scholarship recognizes remarkable talent early on, fostering individual growth for high school students who are willing to challenge themselves through personal assessment.

- Brief auto-biography (NO more than 2 pages)
- Academic strength
- Work experience
- Career objectives
- Detailed statement of intent no longer than two pages (excluding translation), describing:
- Your reasons for applying for a scholarship.
- Your proposed field of study and future career plan.
- What college are you planning on attending.
- Your reasoning used to determine your preferred study institutions and how these proposed institutions support your goals for your career.
- A list summarizing principal interests and activities, noting those in which you have held leadership positions. Indicate any training or experience in public speaking and community service involvement. This list should be no longer than one page.
- Provide one signed letter of recommendation.
Note: Majors Explored scholarship may be used for any part of a student's post high school education including books, tuition, room and board, etc. |
